Why I only support skater owned companies. Miss this guy in the skate world, his lakai part in fully flared was my favorite.

Chris 'Mango' Milic
Chris 'Mango' Milic in Can't Hardly Skate
I can say that I was a fan of Mango the minute I saw his One in a Million video. I wish there was more people in skating like him. Skaters take themselves too serious most of the time. Its refreshing to have someone like Mango skate like they're just out having fun.

Zach Doelling
Zach Doelling in Kansas City Shuffle
I'm not a fan of double and triple flips but Zach's skating is solid. That nose grind till last week on that guard rail was my favorite thing in this video.

Anthony Pappalardo
Anthony Pappalardo in Lakai's Fully Flared.
My favorite part in Fully Flared, hands down. I've always liked this guy but i enjoy part more than his old Workshop parts. I wish he would put out more. I was hoping he would have a part in the new Chocolate video, however i saw on the Pretty Sweet website that his name was taken off it. I heard from a pretty good source he had only a handful of tricks for the video. Anyways his Epicly Later'd is one of my favorites right under the Cardiel one.

Max Schaaf and Magnet Board
I have another blog where I post things that are not part of skateboarding but try to be. I found this video of Max Schaaf while watching a horrible video on magnet boards.

Kevin Taylor
Kevin Taylor for Orion Trucks web edit.
The skate park footage is good but the street section is what got me pumped. I've skated that indoor bowl in Philly and the tricks he does there are not easy on that thing. I'm glad to see Kevin Taylor still killing it.

John Cardiel from Anti Hero's Self titled video
Skating
is all about how you do it, and John Cardiel is how you do it. Wild
release, intensity, full commitment, blasting the fuck out...if you go
it, you go all in. His skating is 3 dimensional in a sea of side
scrolling. Loose, unpredictable, unstoppable, undeniable. Up on top of
it, dropping to the flatbottom, blasting over it, skidding the whole
fucking thing. What you do pales in the face of how you do it. And
Cardiel is how you do it. - Johnny Hero

The Skate Jawn video
The Skate Jawn video is one of the best videos I have seen in a while. I'm a sucker for east coast videos. I'm from the east coast, so I enjoy seeing it more than anywhere else. Most of the skating takes place in Philly. I've been a fan of Philly since the Kalis and Williams days. I think what I like the most about this video is how true to skating it is. It's just 100% raw skateboarding. Check it out.
Anthony Van Engelen
Anthony Van Engelen's part in Alien Workshops Mind Field.
I thought his DC part was pretty good, however i never went out of my way to check out stuff he put out. Then his Mind Field part came out and I loved everything about it, from the Adolescents song to skating 100 mph. I'm pumped to see what he puts out in the Vans video.

Ricky Oyola
Ricky Oyola's part in New Deal's 7 Year Glitch.
One of my favorites. Doesnt get enough credit sometimes for his influence on skateboarding. It's very apparent today watching videos. I've seen his style of pushing through the streets and hitting everything in your path lately. Kids who are doing lines and not just skating one object at a spot is something that's popular today. Ricky has been doing it for years. Also I picked this part of his because I was pumped he was on New Deal. I really liked that company and wish it stuck around.
Side Note: A couple of weekends ago I scored a Ricky Oyola Silverstar Skateboard from 1997 at an 'antiques'
store. The owner used to skate. The skate nerd in me was so pumped.
Rodney Mullen
Rodney Mullen section in Plan B's Virtual Reality.
What can I say about Rodney? The best? That word is not strong enough to describe him. I remember watching his Rodney Mullen vs Daewon Song 2 part in a skateshop while visiting my grandmother in Allentown, PA. I bought it right away and brought it home to NY, my friends and I couldn't understand how he skated that way. After that day Ed Templeton was went from my number one favorite skater at age 16 to number two. Rodney took the crown. Also how nuts is that photo below?
