I liked this guy when he was on One in a Million a couple of years ago. He's gotten a lot better since then and is killing it! I cant wait to see more of him.
One of my favorites. Doesnt get enough credit sometimes for his influence on skateboarding. It's very apparent today watching videos. I've seen his style of pushing through the streets and hitting everything in your path lately. Kids who are doing lines and not just skating one object at a spot is something that's popular today. Ricky has been doing it for years. Also I picked this part of his because I was pumped he was on New Deal. I really liked that company and wish it stuck around.
Side Note: A couple of weekends ago I scored a Ricky Oyola Silverstar Skateboard from 1997 at an 'antiques'
store. The owner used to skate. The skate nerd in me was so pumped.

What can I say about Rodney? The best? That word is not strong enough to describe him. I remember watching his Rodney Mullen vs Daewon Song 2 part in a skateshop while visiting my grandmother in Allentown, PA. I bought it right away and brought it home to NY, my friends and I couldn't understand how he skated that way. After that day Ed Templeton was went from my number one favorite skater at age 16 to number two. Rodney took the crown. Also how nuts is that photo below?
I can't get enough on him. I love the way he skates and skates everything. He's number two on my list of underrated skaters. (Rick McCrank's number one.)
I was pullin for this guy in One in a Million this year. Rumor was he was going to win it too. Some of his tricks are too much for me, like the switch up grinds and flip outs. However I still like the way he skates. The way he carried himself on OIAM makes me enjoy him more.
